Day 6 Central Park

Awoke to an overcast day and decided to hire some bikes and gently ride around Central Park.  Great in theory except Grace took off into the distance and we could not make a stop anywhere as we tried to keep up with her.

The Ramble - couldn't stop.  Conservatory Garden - nope.  Boat pond - nope.  Fountain - nope.  Lie on my back on the lawn, surrounded by skyscrapers (on my bucket list) - nope.  Two hours of tearing around in hot pursuit of a teenager - yep.  Oh well, Grace enjoyed her freedom.

Returned bikes and got lunch from local shop packed full of construction guys.  It was good.

Then back to Rockefeller Centre.  Lach and kids went up top and I took a great art and history tour.

More shopping (over it) and back to hotel for nanna nap.

A stop at the barbers for Lach before dinner.

Chinese for tea where the waitress took one look at Lach and decided he had never had Chinese before.  She stirred his noodles for him and then came out with scissors and chopped them into itty bitty pieces.  Aaaaaaw.
