Day 9 Mohonk Mountain House

A glorious day for a Sunday drive through  the Hudson Valley.  We travelled up the Bronx Parkway through smalltown USA.....

to Mohonk Mountain House, a resort built in 1869 as a Summer getaway for the very wealthy.  JD Rockefeller was one of their guests in the day.......

The House was breathtaking.

The views were breathtaking.  There's the Borscht Belt Catskills in the background.

Another beautiful day - thanks again to Cheryl our amazingly generous host.
